Hard cover Bible, with handwritten inscription on end paper, 'Police Magistrates Room Rockhampton Sept 1st 1862'. Front and back covers are detached, heaving foxing throughout and some pages brittle and flaking. Probably used for taking oaths. Found in Rockhampton Titles Registry Office until time of donation. The Bible likely came to be there as the Rockhampton Titles Registry Office was formerly located in the old Rockhampton Supreme Court building.
