Summary:
The aim of this paper is to present further findings on the effects of the Civil Justice Reforms which were introduced in April 1999, implementing many of the recommendations in Lord Woolf's final report on Access to Justice. Early findings based upon evidence obtained over the first two years were presented in the paper 'Emerging Findings' published in March 2001. This paper builds on that evidence and includes some additional information. - Publisher's website.
