In 1999 a national survey was conducted on small businesses in the retail food, retail liquor, newsagent, pharmacy and service station sectors. This paper presents preliminary results of victimisation and patterns of repeat victimisation. It highlights business characteristics associated with a heightened risk of victimisation.
