Summary:
In December of 2013, Alan M. Dershowitz retired, after 50 years of service at Harvard Law School. In 1967, at the age of 28, he became the youngest full professor in the history of Harvard Law School. Dershowitz is best known for his involvement in a number of high profile legal cases, having acted for the likes of Mike Tyson, Patti Hearst, Jim Bakker, Klaus von Búlow and OJ Simpson. Chutzpah was published in 1991 and is part auto biography and part social commentary on the place of Judaism in the United States of America. Chutzpah is a quality better described than defined. For example, it is the character of a client who is charged with counterfeiting antiques that then seeks to pay for legal services with antiques. The book is a self-indulgent confession of a Chutzpahnik and is largely an attack on anti-semitism.
