Summary:
On 6 November 2003 the Faculty of Law of the Queensland University of Technology and the Supreme Court of Queensland convened a conference entitled "Courts for the 21st Century: Public Access, Privacy and Security". Attendance at the conference was free and most of the papers were available on QUT's website to make it accessible to as wide a range of people as possible. The conference was the first in a series designed to canvass issues bearing on the working of courts for the 21st century.
