Albert Bathurst Piddington, George Rich, and Adrian Knox are part of Sydney's history. They also inform our present. Rich, for example, was instrumental in the establishment of the Womens College in the University of Sydney, while Knox was, and continues to be recognised as, the person responsible for the consolidation of the state's racing at Randwick.
