Prynne began a 4th vol; to be an introduction to his 3v work; yet it remained unfinished at his death. Only 1 copy of this work is known to exist & is held by the Lincoln Inn Library. Most copies of the Introduction & the 1st & 2nd vols perished in the Great Fire of London, 1666, and it is supposed that now more than 25 sets of the 3 volumes exist.
